Short version: we collect what an order needs and what a competition entry needs, and nothing else. We do not sell it.

If you buy something

Stripe collects your name, email, shipping address and payment details in order to take the payment. We receive everything except the card number, which we never see. We store your email, shipping address and what you ordered, because a supplier cannot ship a parcel to nobody.

Your name, address and the items are passed to whoever fulfils that order — a print-on-demand producer or a paper wholesaler. They receive only what is needed to put the parcel in the post.

If you enter the buyback

We store the name you want on the certificate, your email, any link you paste, and whether you asked for the mailing address. If you win or are featured, your submission and first name may be shown publicly — that is what you agree to by entering.

Email

Order confirmations and buyback replies are sent through Resend. We do not add you to a marketing list because you bought something.

Analytics

None. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag and no third-party analytics script on this site. If that changes, this page changes first.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Buyback entries are deleted once the campaign is finished and the winners have their prizes.

Getting it deleted

Email hello@webuyusedtoiletpaper.com and ask. We will delete what we are not legally required to keep, and tell you what is left and why. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we hold, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

This store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and it will be removed.
