Privacy

Short version: we collect what an order needs, and nothing else. We do not sell it.

If you buy something

Stripe collects your name, email, shipping address and payment details in order to take the payment. We receive everything except the card number, which we never see. We store your email, shipping address and what you ordered, because a supplier cannot ship a parcel to nobody.

Your name, address and the items are passed to whoever fulfils that order — a print-on-demand producer or a paper wholesaler. They receive only what is needed to put the parcel in the post.

If you write to us

We store your name, email and message so a person can reply, and for as long as the reply is useful. Nothing else is taken from that form.

Email

Order confirmations and replies are sent through Resend. We do not add you to a marketing list because you bought something.

The Buyback Program

If you buy toilet paper here, we keep your email address with an Operative number, the rolls your orders registered, the forms you file (including the name you sign a Deed with and anything you choose to enter on Form 26 or 27-B), your Cases and your credit. It is used to run the Program and for nothing else. A Case number is read at a public Hearing only if you allow it on the Case page; nothing else about a Case is ever published. When you open your Holdings, one cookie remembers them on that device so checkout can apply your credit. It is not used for tracking and you can remove it from the Holdings page.

Analytics

Aggregate page counts only, measured by Vercel Web Analytics, and daily counts of Program actions kept with no personal data. No analytics cookie is set, no advertising tag runs, nothing follows you to another site, and no visit is tied to a person or an order. There is nothing here that could identify you. If that changes, this page changes first.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Messages sent through the contact form are deleted once the matter is closed.

Getting it deleted

Email hello@webuyusedtoiletpaper.com, or use the contact form, and ask. We will delete what we are not legally required to keep, and tell you what is left and why. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what we hold, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

YouTube API Services

We publish our own short videos to our own YouTube channel using an internal tool that uses YouTube API Services. It is not available to the public and no customer or visitor uses it.

The tool holds one permission, youtube.upload, which lets it add a video to the single channel we have connected. It cannot read anything: not videos, channels, playlists, comments, search results, analytics or viewer information, ours or anyone else's. It never shows YouTube content to anyone, and it collects nothing about you.

What it stores is an authorisation token for that one channel, in our own database, used only to upload. It is deleted the moment the channel is disconnected in the tool. We share it with nobody.

Access can be withdrawn at any time from Google's security settings, which revokes the token immediately. Using YouTube API Services means we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of any data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Children

This store is for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and it will be removed.
